THE HEBERT HOME
Model E
Mark and Beth Hebert moved into their home on March
of 2005. They are the fourth owner to enjoy living in this Model E Ford Home that
is brimming with many original features. This home has the unique Ford Home pediment,
6-over-1 windows, push button light switches, retractable chain door lock and natural
fireplace with the original mantel, bricks and tiles. Their living room was enlarged
in the 1940s when the side porch was closed in. On the front of the house, you will
see the original shutters with distinctive diamond cutouts. These were found in
the garage with a pair of support beams. In the near future, Mark and Beth hope
to add a deck to the back of the house and incorporate the support beams into the
design. For the time being, Mark and Beth share their home which their German Short
Hair Pointer, Doris, their Golden Retriever, Parker, and their two cats, Ella and
Miles.
