THE RUCINSKI HOME
Model F
Sheila and John Rucinski and their Dachshund, Gidget,
moved into their 1919 Model F Ford Home in August 2004. This is the second time
their home as been featured on our home tour. This home retains much of the original
charm with the original open side porch, front door pediment, 6-over-1 windows and
fireplace bricks. Sheila and John remodeled the dining room in 2005 and beautifully
restored the floors themselves. In 2006, they remodeled the living room. For the
holidays, Shelia and John display many things dear to their heart: John's childhood
Spirit of 76 Train, Shelia's great-grandmother's china, a centerpiece made by Sheila's
grandmother, and a wreath and swag made by Sheila's aunt. Also, be sure to look
for the snowmen that Sheila collects.
