THE TEMKOW HOME
Model B
Ben and Sarah Temkow have lived in their 1920 Model
B home for one year as of this December. This home has its original fir floor in
the front room and the natural fireplace has the original mantel, bricks and tiles.
The dining room and kitchen were opened to provide a more spacious appearance to
the original floor plan and a family room has been added off the kitchen, as well.
Their décor is a combination of antique and modern, accented by the artwork
of Sarah's brother, Daniel Buettner. Displayed for Christmas are Spode "Christmas
Tree" china and Department 56 "North Pole" Village. It should be
noted that this is also the childhood home of Major League Baseball player, Derek
Lowe.
