Thanks to the Home Tour
Families and Volunteers! The
FHHD home tour in December was a great success! The tour raised over $2,700 for the district. Thank you so much to our organizers and
co-chairs Teresa Klimkiewicz and Sylvia Tillman for a great tour, and for
getting the wonderful holiday trolley for the first time! And thanks to our homeowners for the
beautiful job they did with their homes:
The Duvall family and Scozzari family on Park, the Gaines family and
Westcott family on Nona, the Jones family on Francis, the Rushman family and
Heilbrun/Dieringer family on Edison,
and the Fisher family and Tailford family on Gregory. |
Michelle Kazmierski, BSW
will be speaking at this meeting. She
is an outreach counselor for the city of Dearborn, and will be talking about
how the city can help elderly neighbors in our community who might need a
helping hand. FHHD
volunteer sign up: We will also have a sign up
sheet to “man the tent” in 1 hour shifts during the upcoming Edison street
sale. Please help support the
neighborhood by selling baked goods.
House
Construction Pictures: The xerox copies of the FHHD houses under
construction from 1919 will be at the meeting for anyone who missed them at
the last meeting. |

Happy
Spring!

Awesome New
Pergola
A
special thanks to Dave Tillman for his engineering, woodworking and building
expertise! If you drive by the Park
Street park you will notice the new cedar pergola (similar to a gazebo) in
the park. Also thanks to Scott and Rand for their hard work in helping Dave with the construction. It looks beautiful! The blooming vines should be in by next spring and the pergola should have a “roof” of wonderful flowers in no time. Great job!!! |
Park Clean Up
Day
Thanks to everyone who participated in the clean up day on May 18! The new flowers in the Park Street park and on the Military median look great! |
|
Thank You!
Thanks
to Pat Coleman for agreeing to cut the Park Street park grass this year! |
