Spring Meeting
& Elections
Thursday, April 13:

The FHHD Spring Meeting is next week!
Meet your neighbors at this twice-a-year District meeting in the basement
meeting space of the First Baptist Church, at the corner of Beech and Nowlin.
Enter through the back door next to the church parking lot.
Spring Elections:
There are seven members of the FHHD
Board of Directors.
At this meeting, four of the positions will be up for election.
If you would like to take a more active role in our neighborhood, please
consider filling one of these two year positions.
After the election, the new board will elect which members will fill the
roles of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
Park Planning:
We will have volunteer sign up sheets at the meeting for
this growing season at the Park Street park.
Please think about signing up for one of the weekends to either cut the grass
with your mower, or help weed the gardens.
We will also see if there is interest in having a spring planting day for
the park.
Annual Edison Street Sale, Bake
Sale, and Raffle:
The annual Edison Street Sale will be on Saturday, June
3.
Many people on Edison (and the other FHHD streets) have garage sales on this
day.
The FHHD has two fundraisers during this sale:
A bake sale and a raffle.
Any local business owners who could donate prizes should contact Bill O’Reilly
at 730-1932.

Saturday, April 15:
10:00am
Parents, bring your kids to the Duval School playground (at
Beech and Military) for the FHHD Easter Egg (candy) hunt!
Bring a basket or a bag to collect your treats.
