We are planning to install beds at the end of the medians at the alley and at Park Street. Bring a shovel and lend a hand! Park Mowing ScheduleWe need your help!! You can STILL volunteer to help mow the Park St. Park by calling one of the board members listed above. |
A Message from Dave Tillman Hi neighbors: I would like to take this opportunity to offer a big "thank you" to all the people that attended our district meeting and helped elect the new board members. For those of you who couldn't make it, we missed you and look forward to seeing you next time! We re-elected one board member, Mike Assenmacher, and elected three new members to the board: Teresa Klimkiewicz, Evonne Kakos, and Cindy Bohn. These new board members will serve for a two-year term. Congratulations and welcome! THANK YOU! to our outgoing board members: Erin Keem, Kurt Klimkiewicz, and Bill O'Reilly . Through all their efforts, they have helped to make our neighborhood a better place. If you have any concerns or ideas regarding events or the neighborhood in general, please contact one of us. Thanks, Dave We still are in need of volunteers and a spot to set the district tent up for FHHD merchandise sales at the Edison Street sale. If you can help out or donate a spot, please contact Dave Tillman at 278-4055. PS û Please come to the Perennial Exchange on May 13th. Even if you do not have plants to exchange, it would also be an excellent opportunity to give the park a Spring Spruce-Up! Light weeding of the beds, planting, pruning and mulching are always needed. Remember that this is a space donated to our neighborhood by the city and improved by us with volunteer labor and funds from the Home Tours and merchandise sales. We need your help to keep the park a beautiful spot that everyone may stop by to enjoy. Again, volunteers are ALWAYS welcome!! |
